SkullNook Labs Ltd. started in April 2025 with a mission to provide a unique consumer experience that benefits them, their wallet, and their environment. In a world where “garbage lasagna” is more common each day - I was inspired to cultivate a dedicated space to learn more about 3D printing and sustainable engineering.

Colorado ranked 41st out of 50 states in recycled landfill waste in 2024. We recorded 15.5% recycled waste versus an average of 32% recycled waste per state!

Choosing SkullNook Labs will help reduce plastic waste here in Colorado because I want to see Colorado reach & eclipse the 32% recycling average.

My long range vision is to study, build, & provide convenient DIY filament techniques to other fellow makers & hobbyists. Imagine saving that 2 liter soda bottle and it becomes filament for your 3D printer. This is a win-win situation and the future for recycling as well. Turning plastics into fuel that is affordable, accessible, and simplified!
